Lack of follow up on service:
Have contract for yearly checks on our standby generator. Nicor provides Tradewind to maintain this check. The generator is moving off the slab and is not level, pulling on the gas pipe and electric hookups. For a week, I've been trying to get someone to come out and reset the device. NO luck, no call back, more interested in selling me the insurance to cover the gas leak. Waiting for the parts department to call me to find out if they have the part. In the meantime, the generator checks itself, every Thursday, which will vibrate and probably move more. Can't get anyone there, Nicor or Tradewind to realize the seriousness of this problem. The equipment is fine, the installation is lousy and the response is scary. Waiting for a gas leak.
