Tips

Know Before You Go:
Newbies should wear lightweight pants--not shorts or capris--that cover the backs of the knees, which can get sore after repeatedly hooking them over the bar. Sunscreen is also a must for anyone in an outdoor class, though be sure to wash hands before class to eliminate greasy palms.

The Extras:
The school has an indoor, tented facility in addition to the outdoor setup--good for inclement weather or for those who don?t want to be gawked at by passersby--though it's not as beautiful as having the Potomac as a backdrop.
