From what I saw, I imagine Trastevere probably should have long lines and consequently reduced service quality during the high times.

But on a Saturday afternoon, it was a good experience. With a rather pleasant environment, I enjoyed their carpaccio and spaghetti a bolognese. I had no problems with the service. And the restaurant provides a nice place to watch the action at Third Street Promenade.

"It's wonderful to sit outside on a warm summer night" at these "energetic", "touristy" Italians whose prime locales in the heart of Hollywood and Santa Monica provide ideal "people-watching"; opinions on the food – pastas, wood-fired pizzas, fish and meat – range from "good" to "underwhelming", but at least service is solid and the prices are "fair."
