I brought my car in for an inspection and it is time sensitive. I just spent $500 on new brakes and a new windshield. The people who did my brakes did not have an inspector available so found this place. I brought the car in, and they spent an hour with the car and called me and said that I needed a new tire. Then they said I actually needed two, but they can legally "only fail this one" like they were doing me some kind of favor. Knowing I did not want to spend another $115 on a brand new tire for a car that OBVIOUSLY needs a new alignment, I requested the rejection sticker so that I could get a used one put on until I can get the alignment taken care of and new tires all around. He asked me why I would want the rejection sticker, and I explained that I can't afford another $115 and I would bring the vehicle back after I got the new tire installed. He laughed at me, went out to talk to the inspector where they then proceeded to take 20 MINUTES to get my car down from the lift and put a rejection sticker on and then told me "good luck finding someone that is open". Of course I did find someone open that had my tire in stock, and I was back at Tread Quarters at 6:15. I was then told that the inspector was gone for the day, and I was "out of luck", Of course, the inspector was still plainly there, but they refused to inspect my car, despite the fact that it was 45 minutes from closing time.I'm afraid to take my car there tomorrow, or ever again. Holding my state inspection over my head to get me to buy ONE new tire is ridiculous and petty. If they don't want to be an inspection station, then don't be one. You can't be juvenile over the fact that I chose not to get my repairs done at your shop.
