Poor Customer Service Experience:
Normally my experience with Tropiquarium is a great experience. I come to them for all my aquatic needs. But this last time is most likely going to be my last time. I bought an Angel fish the other day and the following day it was dead in my tank. I had to wait to return it so I kept it in the freezer till I got back from my trip. Now mind you I put this fish in a 60 gallon and purchased two other angel fish and they were fine. So I came to the store with my dead fish and they would not take the fish back cause I did no provide a water sample. I explained I did not know the return policy till I arrived at the store and reviewed my receipt. I explained I shopped here all the time and I spend a lot of money and never return anything and asked for an exception. The manager told me I put the policy on the receipt for a reason. And she made a comment about me driving 15 minutes to get to the store when she though it was an hour. The comments upset me but I stayed calm. I needed more barbs so I asked a male associate to help me. He said the other guy is already in there and pointed. I said he was in the middle of something. He and his manager then proceeded to tell me that he was not working. I accepted the other guy got my fish came back to the register minutes later and guess who it there to ring me up. The same person who was not working. Here are some examples of things I bought with the business, tanks, stands, discus, many other varieties of tropical fish. I have 60 gallon setups in almost every room in my house and I spend 3000-6000 every 6. Months. When I bring that water sample in and get my refund, I will take my business somewhere else.
