Tips

The long wait for this popular noodle joint is TOTALLY worth it. I love their thick broth and the hidden hard boiled egg is a sweet surprise. They're also super generous with the meat.

While this small Japanese restaurant is famous for their ramen, be mindful that they only serve the comforting soup during lunch -- which is fine, as the large menu of tofu, noodles, sushi and cooked meats offers plenty of options for dinner guests.

Long-standing favorites such as Daikokuya and Santouka have new competition, but there's still plenty of room to grow in this segment, with mini-chains like Yamadaya, Ikemen, and Jinya sprouting new locations. Even the highly...

Sitting at the bar instead of a table mean...view mores you get a free pore-opening facial with your meal, if you don't mind. Hey, we saved a few minutes by agreeing to sit at the bar, and as far as I'm concerned, it all tastes like the same porky...
