The man behind the Underground Cafe is Bulgarian soccer player Assen Tchongov, who grew up in the restaurant business. The heart of the cuisine is Bulgarian food, but Underground also serves pasta.

The Underground Café is the result of the dream of Bulgarian Soccer Player Assen Tchongov who is the owner. He grew up in the restaurant business working for his father who presently owns five successful restaurants in Bulgaria.
