Jackie Storm has been grooming my 2 cats for 6 years. One is a short hair, the other long. Both have catittude!

Jackie is amazing with both my girls.

She does their nails, teeth and Furminates them.

But even better than that, she really knows my cats and has alerted me when one of them isn't doing well - even before I know - so that we can promptly visit the vet.

Her shop is clean & pleasant. She's always on time. And her prices are very reasonable.

She takes all the stress out of cat grooming!

I used to take my long-haired tortie there to be groomed, but no longer. The last 2 appointments ended with disappointing results. The last appointment was on a Saturday, made well in advance, for 10AM. They close on Saturdays at 1PM. I had not received a call to pick her up by 12:35PM, so I called to find out if she was done - I was worried that they'd leave her there all weekend. I was told to come get her at 1PM sharp. When I arrived at 12:55PM, she was still not done. I waited 15 minutes, and they brought her out covered in hair that'd been shaved off and she hadn't been bathed (which I paid for.) They also forgot to shave her tail to make it a true "lion cut", which is what I request for her every appointment. They hurriedly shaved her tail and brought her back out; there were long wisps of her hair still clinging to areas that should have been completely shaved down. Her nails also had not been clipped, and she was shaking from head to toe in anxiety from being in a cage for hours next to several yappy dogs. I overlooked the shoddy job they did on her once, and gave them another shot - and this is what I got. The staff also reminded me on a constant basis that I was lucky they'd take me because no one else in Rochester will touch cats (which is a lie.)

I now go to The Grey Cottage in Penfield on Rte. 250 - Kristen does an excellent job on her there! There are no cages at the Grey Cottage - every appointment is dedicated completely to your pet. She always has such great things to say about my cat's demeanor and cooperation (she's a very sweet, alid-back cat), and does not make me feel as if she is doing me a favor. My cat has never had a better haircut, either. So, in short, skip Uni-Pet and check out other places - you'll be much happier!
