Owners a jerk, bad customer service!!!!:
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!
Thank you for your time, I would like to comment on your UPS Store location located at 13536 Lakewood Blvd, Bellflower CA. 90706, telephone number 1-562-630-2652. On Wed. May 26th, 2010 at about 11am. My wife walked into this location with two small (Smaller than a loaf of bread) Packages to be sent back to a merchant. (We had a call tag for each one!) As a business, we send items UPS all the time and requested TWO small UPS boxes to send these back in. The owner REFUSED saying "Boxes are $5.95 a piece!". Ok, I'll buy that, as the former owner of a "Postal Annex" for 11 years, a guy HAS to make a buck, but he does NOT have to be RUDE, and his attitude and manner were BOTH clearly saying "I don't have time for you". My wife went OUT to the trash bin next to the store and got TWO small boxes, and went BACK in the store to ask the items to be sent back to the merchant in THESE boxes, (Which were CLEAN and devoid of stickers and markings, remember, I know the rules.) and asked for our call tags to be attached and have these two SMALL boxes taped and sent out. NOW the owner wanted 5$ a PIECE to TAPE THE BOXES!!! He laughed at my wife as she walked out the store in tears! I decided to take a PHOTO of the store to add to a Yelp review (That I have posted, as well as OTHER reviews on THIS LOCATION that I have now posted on the web!) I then walked up to the door, opened it without stepping inside and asked the laughing jerk if HE was the owner, to which he replied "Yes, so what.." I replied "Thank's," and snapped HIS picture to ADD to these reviews as well!! Both are attached! This JERK chased me out to my car cursing, yelling for my camera and barking THREATS as I got in my car to leave, at one point even BLOCKING my car, but quickly got out of my way when I raised my camera to take ANOTHER picture (Which I DID!) Again yelling "|Give me the camera, give me the film" My reply was..."You'll see it on the web" and I drove off....now who's laughing?! In 30 years of working with UPS I have NEVER had ONE issue, but you folks need to teach this guy some customer service. This is NOT how UPS should be run. It's YOUR name on the building, and you brought a poor lady to tears! I would like to know that you contacted this store to explain a little on how to handle your customers. I will NEVER go back to this location and will only tell people how un-happy I was with them...INCLUDING PICTURES! Please let me know if you chat with them at this location. TWO of the pictures are attached and have been posted to Yelp, Facebook, Myspace, the BBB, and other review sites. The one of him raising his fist to my drivers window I shall keep for now.
