Stop for tastings, offered daily 11 to 5 at Village of Elgin Winery, one of the largest producers of wines in the state and the home to Tombstone Red, which the winemaker claims is "great with scorpion, tarantula, and rattlesnake meat." You'll get a souvenir glass and 6 samples for $10 (or bring another winery's glass and pay $8).

the Heart of the Arizona Wine Country. Wines made from grapes grown in Southern Arizona, from the Sonoita AVA, Wilcox Playa and Bowie. We still produce our wines in the traditional fashion, hand harvesting, sorting and foot stomping the reds. The wines are aged in French Oak, Hungarian Oak, Italian Chestnut and Stainless Steel.
