Vintage Builders of Battery Park are building our retirement home. We are in the Parkview phase facing the lake. They have taken it upon themselves to remove the working windows in our livingroom and one in the master bedroom because "they didn't like the way they looked". They were replaced with solid pane glass windows. Pretty over as they say in their mission statement "enhancing the human experience". We fought with conversations and emails and lost to aesthetics and now can't ever enjoy lake breezes in our livingroom and bedroom. Instead they will be warm to hot even on a cool sunny day because they face northwest. They have ruined this experience and as far as we are concerned..our homes comfort level. Basically ..they lied. We love the location..builders..not so much to say the least. Buyer BEWARE if you engage Vintage to do your build. They don't ask first..if they don't like the way it looks it goes their way even when it is the architects blunder.
