Stay away from this place-boycott:
BLACK MAN IN EURO SHOP
STAY AWAY/BOYCOTT!!!!!
First let me just say that my experience here DOES NOT, and I repeat, DOES NOT deserve a rating! And if I had to give this place a rating, they would have received a rating of a "negative 1 million". That's right, you did read that correctly, "negative 1 million".
Their service is beyond horrible! The words that come to mind are APPALLING, AWFUL, BEASTLY, CRUEL, DETESTABLE, DISGUSTING, REPULSIVE, SCANDALOUS, HIDEOUS, UNKIND", and my two most favorite words, "UNGODLY & UNHOLY".
I went to VISION HOUSE based on a referral from my doctor, to get for the first time, a pair of reading glasses. When I got there, the gentleman behind the desk said he knew of my doctor and said he was a nice guy. After carefully selecting a pair of stylish frames ($300), the total came out to be over $600. I was SHOCKED. I asked how much are the lens and he said $300, but took $100 off, obviously to try to make me feel better. He said they would be ready in 1 hr.
I left VISION HOUSE feeling like I was swindled by a used car salesman who hadn't taken a shower in days. But, this guy was clean shaven and smooth.
I decided to do some research by checking around with the other eye places and discovered that "VISION HOUSE" had just pulled a fast one. So I called VISION HOUSE and told them that I didn't want the glasses and I wanted my money back. They said there was "NO REFUND". Surprised from that response, "I said you have to be effen kidding me right"?
The woman on the phone hung up the phone after I said they were overcharging me for the lenses. So, I headed back over to VISION HOUSE. When I got there, the gentleman that I originally dealt with came out and said here are your glasses. I told him in a calm voice, I don't want them, I want my money back. He said there's no refund. I asked if he had a sign posted stating that. He said it's was over there.
Obviously, I couldn't see it, because my eyes were bad. Then I told him that I was going to dispute the charges. I stepped outside to call my credit card company. When I was done with the call, I proceeded to go back into the store to get the gentleman's name and the gentleman locked the door so that I couldn't come back in. I shook my head in disbelief and left.
As I walked down the street, I saw a police officer and stopped him to ask him about how to deal with the dispute I have with the merchant (VISION HOUSE). He responded by saying "So you're the guy that was just in "VISION HOUSE"? Surprised, I responded "yes, I was, I felt that they over charged me". I asked him, "did they call the cops"? He said "yes, they felt that their life was in danger". Of course, I had this stupid look on my face because I couldn't believe it. But it happened. I almost felt like "Professor Gates" from Harvard University.
Clearly, calling the police was racially motivated. Not to mention, the stories that I discovered about other customers having bad experiences as well.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DEAL WITH "VISION HOUSE" WHAT SO EVER. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN THE BUSINESS AND EVERYONE SHOULD BOYCOTT THEM!! I'M WAITING FOR TH DAY WHEN THEY PUT UP THE SIGN THAT SAYS 'GOING OUT OF BUSINESS".
I am currently disputing the charges and I have not accepted the glasses that he tried to push off on me.

Great Service!:
I needed a new pair of glasses and quick, since I am going out of town for the holidays. I only had to wait for a short amount of time. Thanks to all the friendly staff at Vision House! You rock!
