I needed to have my Timex Exhibition watch battery replaced. W & W was nearby, and relatively inexpensive. After changing the battery, it looked okay, and I left. I then tried the indiglo light. It didn't work. I also tried my alarms. They worked, but were very quiet. I looked online, to see what the problem might be. I finally found a sight saying that if the back was replaced upside down, neither would work. I looked at the back, and lo and behold, it was upside down. Tonight I took out all four screws, using a sharp knife, correctly replaced the cover, and touched the battery wt a metal tongs to reset the watch. Something the guy who changed the battery never did. I also noticed that he didn't put a thin layer of silicone on the watch, to help maintain it's waterproof features. Viola it worked, lights, alarms, everything. Until I get it wet. I don't do any deep sea swimming, to 100 m. So hopefully it will last. Tomorrow I will be getting a proper small phillips head screwdriver, and tighten tighter. Hopefully it will last, but I will never return to W & W.
