Dr. Wardy was recommended to me by a massage therapist due to pain in my neck and back. I called Wardy Wellness prior to making an appointment to confirm my insurance coverage and was told that the doctor would do an evaluation not covered by insurance for around $195 out-of-pocket expense. The doctor would not agree to see me without this evaluation. I agreed and made an appointment. At the appointment, I was subjected to questions about my lifestyle and diet and asked to squat, lunge and balance on one foot. At the completion of the evaluation, I was told that I would need additional bloodwork (not covered by insurance) and the total for today's visit would be between $500-600. I called the office the next day and told them that their was no way that I could afford the additional bloodwork (for neck pain) and was told that the doctor refused to see me, but did I want a copy of the report? Hundreds of dollars thrown away for nothing. I made an appointment with Sime Chiropractic where they did this amazing thing called an "X-Ray"and after 5 or 6 visits (covered by insurance), I was completely pain free.
