Washington Commons opened in 2009. From the outside one may not be able to tell this was a bar, but this is a local place to hangout and the bar has 10 local beers and a wide range of spirits. The back porch is open in warmer weather.  Happy hours typically run from 3pm to 8pm on weekdays and 1pm to 4pm on weekend.

Until 8pm Monday through Friday, every drink in the house is discounted by two bucks.

On afternoons and evenings when the bar is empty, the minimalist decor may verge on depressing. It's about as comforting as drinking in a cave.
