I'm posting this on all search engines I can find. I had had a perfect dental record, but I hadn't been to a dentist in 3 years, so when 1-800-DENTIST referred me to this office, I was sure I was in good hands. I was horribly mistaken. I waited too long and had an inexperienced assistant handle my xrays. My dentist, Wen Wang, had a very thick Asian accent, and I could only understand every third word he said. After he spoke at great length about potential gum disease, he proceeded to show me pictures from a binder of victims of gum disease. He told me I had three cavities and needed a special gum-disease-fighting cleaning. Then, the HR woman came in to discuss payment options. It would cost over $3,000 (my share, after insurance, a little under $2,000).

I went to get a second opinion from a private practice in West Los Angeles, and, guess what. I have NO CAVITIES. All I need is a general cleaning; not $3,000 worth of work. I've reported this office to both 1-800-DENTIST and my insurance, and will file complaints with the ADA and any other associations this office/dentist belongs to. Don't waste time or money. Or, if you do go here, please get a second opinion! This dentist used scare tactics to make me believe I needed expensive procedures. Don't buy into it. Get a second opinion.

Why is it so hard to find a good dentist? I have seen my share of bad ones. I lucked out when I made an appointment at West Coast Dental for a cleaning. My new dentist did a careful, detailed job and my smile looks awesome.

I was never really satisfied with my old dentist but never made it a priority to find a new one. Lucky for me, my sister raved about hers so I figured why not give him a try. So happy I did. He is so much more personable and gentle than my last one. The office atmosphere is friendly and they take my insurance too. So glad I switched!

I am very a happy with the service I recieve at West Coast Dental on 6th Street in LA. My dentist is very caring and takes time to explain the treatments. I am without insurance right now so it is affordable too. Plan to be a patient here for a long time!
