I used Westchester Modular Homes Inc out of Bethel, CT was the worst mistake of my life. They are unprofessional, unreliable and very deceitful. They used unethical business practices to takes advantage of people. The company does talk a good game and will “yes” you to death but they are only words. They used delay tactics and took cut shorts when we were not at the job site watching the building process. I can’t possible list all of the things that went wrong with the project or the troubles I had forcing the builder to fix their mistakes. It was a constant battle dealing with them and everything was an extra charge. I had to extend the construction loan 3 times because of the many months of delay, legal battles and overage fees. Not to mention, the countless project managers that was assigned to building this house. Each time a new person was assigned to the project, things were guarantee to go wrong and the blaming game would start. Instead of taking responsible for the mishaps, Westchester blamed the last project manager. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy! I strongly urge you to RUN, not walk away from this builder otherwise you will be very sorry down the road.
