Since 1967, Westerbeke Fishing Gear Co Inc has been providing Wholesale - Marine Supplies from Boston.

I have been trying to get warranty work done on a marine generator7.0 BCGB for a year! No replies to calls,letters etc., then caught them at a trade show and got a contact name. Independent oil report passed easily for water or salt presence. They claim water intrusion was cause? Can't get an explaination of defect. Local distributor says it is clear case of warranty defect. DOES ANYONE CARE? apparently not! They never call you and if you get someone they have no answers. Someone in charge of this company needs to take responsibility. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and wil not stand behind thier products. It is a shame.....they use to be reputable.
