I went there to get food for my family, the school nurse had not filled in the referral paper properly, so the lady who delt with me accused me of trying to mess with the system-I had gotten an emergency food box(no referral needed) from the food bank S of Bethany(?) or Glendale the day before-we are ALLOWED to do that. She snidely told me that they have computers linking their locations-they could TELL what I had done! Hello? Are you kidding me? Then she asks me why I claimed my husband the day before, but not today-well, I'm never sure who they are referring to as 'haed of household', that's why. My husband wasn't with me-so, I didn't list him & nobody asked about him, that's why. Then she wanted me to verbally list the people in my family( as if I am trying to pull a fast one, or something). My husband, myself, my 21 yr old daughter, 3 kids of mine under 18, plus my grand-daughter. I didn't DARE mention my 94 yr old grandma that stays with us 1/2 the time! So-they got the food-by now I am flustered & crying-I'm not accustomed to people treating me like I am slimy liar. Did they care-not at ALL. I told them shame on you for treating someone that is only trying to feed their family. I didn't lie-the nurse made an act of omission-all this person had to do was call & verify, & then inform her that it had been improperly turned in. NO- that would have been to kind/ professional-something this place is not. I would never send a single hurting soul to you people if you were the last 'refuge' on earth. You would only hurt them & laugh. Good riddance. Definitely no Spirit of the Lord working here! But then, you get to explain this to Him yourself one day-don't you?
