Independent professional baseball team based out of Wichita, KS. The Wichita Wingnuts are locally owned and operated by five Wichita, KS business owners. The Wingnuts were founded in 2008 made the playoffs in 2009, 2011, 2012 and were one game short in 2010. The 'Nuts season starts in May and is comprised of 100 games, 50 home and 50 away.
