Knows nothing about parrots!:
Took 2 parrots in for wing/nail trim...had no idea what they were doing...wings look mutilated,..questioned the vet & he said this was how he has been doing it for 25 years, did I know a better way & he would try it. When the wings are spread they look like this: /____/____/____/
Clipped primary AND secondary feathers which was not necessary. Also said he needed to trim my Macaws beak. There are Dremmel marks where he held it there too long, bird now having problems picking up food. Will NEVER GO BACK. I have yet to see if real damage has been done because I do not know if he caused balance issues with the improper wing clip.
I mentioned my African Grey is VERY nervous all the time and it has gotten worse due to a recent move had started plucking. He suggested an E-Collar. FOR A BIRD WITH ANXIETY. NO THANKS.
Macaw is also very swollen on left side of the face. My birds have been stressed out ever since we got back, not eating, very quiet...HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

the owner:
well let me start by saying that you will be treated with disrespect if you take your animal here. the owner is a rude person with an attitude.

Wonderful Clinic!!:
The staff of Williams Veterinary Clinic have continuously gone above and beyond anything that i would expect. It is very obvious of their efforts to make your experience, as well as your pets as stress-free, personal, and loving as they can. They are always more than happy to answer any questions you might have, and if they are unable to provide an answer, they will immediately find someone who does.
