Winslow's Tavern

Located in the center of Wellfleet on Cape Cod, Winslow's Tavern is a seasonal restaurant housed in an historic New England building. Our menu seasonally reflects the best offerings of coastal cuisine with an inspired Mediterranean influence.

This 1805 Federal-style captain's house contains five dining rooms; try for a table on the patio overlooking the center of town. The kitchen specializes in bistro-inspired seafood, mostly with American and Mediterranean preparations. Head to the cozy lounge upstairs for live music Thursday through Sunday night in July and August. It's filled with plush sofas and tables lit by flickering candles.

During the summer months, upstairs at Winslow's has live music, dancing, and fun Thursdays to Sundays at about 8:30 to 11pm. On Thursdays it's '80s night with mandatory sing-along to "Don't Stop Believin'." Fridays is hard-bop jazz, and Saturdays feature classic rock 'n' roll. On Sundays classic and funky local jazz artists entertain.

This upscale bistro offers summertime treats such as grilled lobster along with bistro classics like steak frites. Of course they have Wellfleet oysters, the town's world-famous bivalve.
