Tasty & Healthy Pan-Asian:
Wokano has good Japanese and Chinese food in a nice roomy restaurant. There is a lot of stone--even a waterfall--in its large space. You don't feel crowded at all. I've always had a lot of good experiences with the food and service. Generally, I go for the sushi and sashimi. Parking is a little problematic since Wokano is in downtown Burbank, but there is an hour free on the streets and a few nearby lots.

pretty good cal-asian:
Kinda like PF Changs; generic California Asian stuff. The seaweed salad is perfect, and well-portioned, too. If you can't get enough of the baked scallops on the typical baked scallop sushi roll, then try the Dynamite appetizer. The hot & sour soup is also pretty good. Other than that, I've often had the Garlic Shrimp entree, which isn't bad, but was nothing to write home about. Brown or white rice available on request. There's also a back room for parties or such that seats about 20, I think.

Wokcano has evolved from a single Los Angeles location to a six-restaurant Southern California chain serving pan-Asian cuisine and sushi. Start with the tuna truffle pizza or Malaysian-style clams with basil and a black bean ginger sauce. Highlights from larger plates include the black pepper beef mignon and the honey walnut shrimp. The volcano roll is a flavorful combination of shrimp tempura...

Valley location of the popular Asian eatery serves up traditional favorites in a chic, Far Eastern-inspired setting.
