Don't go here!:
It was my first time going to see Dr. Moore so I was somewhat nervous to begin with. From the second I walked in, I was glared at and treated very cold- It made me quite uncomfortable to the point where I wanted to walk out. I needed this appointment however, so I stayed, hoping that Dr. Moore would treat me much differently. To my dismay she did not, and just like her employees, she was cold. She walked in on me while I was still changing- w/o knocking, which I think any women would agree with me that it’s quite embarrassing. She made no small talk to make me more at ease. She didn’t ask one question about me or my life, let alone why I scheduled the appointment! I thought this was weird considering most Dr’s usually try to establish a good relationship with their client on the first visit. Her whole attitude towards me was just off.
At the end of the appointment she was supposed to write me two Rx, which she forgot to do (surprise, surprise) and I found out she had left for the day before I even got out of the room, so I never got the Rx I needed. To go on a little more about my horrible experience, when I called back to get my test results, they said they couldn’t find them! I left a message for Dr. Moore that day asking for an explanation- she didn’t get back to me in over a week- and when she finally returned my phone call, she left a message saying “if you’re calling about billing, I am not responsible for those questions- call your healthcare provider”. I couldn’t believe my ears!
I’ve have never been treated so poorly by a Dr.- someone who takes on a professional title like Dr. Moore should honestly know better. I wish I could go in there and ask for my co-pay back, but it’s not worth my time. Those people are very unprofessional and rude. Take my advice, there are hundreds of other Doctor’s in Chicago that will appreciate your business, DON'T GO HERE!
