Beware:
Watch out parents!!!! My daughter danced at Yoko's for four years and progressed rapidly amongst the girls that have been dancing since they were little kids. She loved dance and worked so hard to impress upon Yoko her dedication and drive to the art. About 4 months ago I noticed that one of the male parents, who is often at the studio and participates in many of Yoko's functions, was paying an extreme amount of attention to my daughter via text messaging, myspace, phone messages and one on one contact. He is 44 years old and she is 15. Disturbing! I notified Yoko, the Fremont Police and confronted the adult male. He was to have no further contact with my daughter. Yoko became enraged at me, he is well liked amongst Yoko's staff, the parents and the kids. Isn't that a familiar story? I was scolded and threatened with expulsion. Now the cake topper!! After competition season ended and new groups were being formed, my daughter would receive the proverbial knife in the back. Instead of rewarding all of the hard work that she put in over the past year, Yoko moved her down and assigned her to groups with less skill, experience and instruction. She paid the price for my exposure of inexcusable and borderline criminal behavior. We were shown the door and the 44 year old male customer is still at Yoko's, living in his playground. Be careful people!
